Two compartment septic tanks and leachlines have been our basic onsite wastewater system of
choice for many years, and will work well into the future when installed properly and maintained.
Proper tank
installation is crucial. The tank invert, outlet, and leachline pipe elevations are important in getting the sewer effluent
to the most suitable soil absorption area available. This is accomplished by using a gravity feed system whenever possible.
When the best absorption area is higher in elevation than the septic tank, it becomes necessary to install a sump
pump and control panel to deliver the effluent to a higher elevation. This provides you with alternative placement locations
to avoid wells, creeks, property lines, and high ground water locations.
